Business For Development

Our world is changing and becoming increasingly complex. The Knowledge that have guided our companies in the past are becoming obsolete. Managers trained with the former methods are considered responsible for many ills of our modern society. Thus, companies that encourage consumers to consume sugary drinks and junk foods are considered responsible for health problems, obesity, and diseases. Polluting companies are considered responsible for climate changes. Hedge funds and speculative banks are responsible for the financial crisis

In this context, a trend in management science is developing towards a more responsible training. Atraining that clearly highlights the limitations of our methods while encouraging future managers to think differently.

In developing countries , the idea is to encourage the development of theories and practices that can address issues related to the development of the society.
